Who it is for

  • Holders of an immigration permit to settle permanently in Ukraine
  • Close family members of Ukrainian citizens (within immigration categories)
  • Qualifying investors and other categories defined by immigration law

How to apply

  • Obtain an immigration permit from the State Migration Service (or a consulate abroad)
  • Apply for the permanent residence permit on the basis of that immigration permit
  • Submit required documents, legalised and translated into Ukrainian
  • Collect the biometric permanent residence card

Requirements

  • Hold an immigration permit and have arrived for permanent residence in Ukraine
  • Have entered on a long-term (Type D) visa where required
  • Provide documents legalised and translated into Ukrainian
  • Fee exemptions apply to Chernobyl-affected persons, disabled war veterans, families of fallen servicemen and persons with group I-II disabilities

Documents you may need

  • Completed application form
  • Passport or ID document showing the D visa, with a Ukrainian translation
  • 4 photographs, 35 mm x 45 mm, on matt paper
  • Copy of the immigration-permit decision (or equivalent for your category)
  • Proof the fees have been paid
