Ukraine visas

Whether you need a visa for Ukraine depends on your nationality and the purpose and length of your stay: many nationals can enter visa-free for short visits, some visa-required nationals can use the electronic visa, and others must obtain a short-term (C), long-term (D) or transit (B) visa from a Ukrainian consulate. Short-stay entry and visas are administered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, while residence permits, immigration permits and citizenship are handled by the State Migration Service of Ukraine. Note that Ukraine remains under martial law following the full-scale invasion of February 2022, and entry rules, border crossings and processing can change at short notice, so always confirm current conditions with official sources before travelling.
