Documents Required for Ukrainian Visas
Core documents include a valid passport, the application form, photos, proof of purpose and, for long-term and residence applications, supporting documents such as a work permit, study invitation or family evidence, legalised and translated into Ukrainian.
Important
Every visa application requires a passport valid for the intended stay, a completed application form, a passport photograph, proof of the purpose of travel and, where required, evidence of accommodation, funds and medical insurance. Requirements differ by visa type and by the applicant's nationality.
Long-term (D) visas require purpose-specific supporting documents: a work permit for employment, an invitation from an educational institution for study, or evidence of the family relationship for family reunification. For residence-permit and citizenship applications submitted to the State Migration Service, foreign documents must generally be legalised (apostilled or consularly legalised) and translated into Ukrainian by a certified translator.
