Ukrainian Visa Processing Times

Processing time depends on the route: electronic visas are decided within a few business days, consular visas vary by mission, and residence permits are issued within days to weeks after documents are submitted.

Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Electronic visas are processed within a short window of business days, with an urgent option for faster decisions. Consular (C, D and B) visa processing varies by mission and workload, so timescales should be confirmed with the specific embassy or consulate.

Residence permits issued by the State Migration Service are generally produced within a matter of days to a few weeks after a complete application is accepted. Immigration-permit (permanent-immigration) applications are subject to a much longer statutory maximum and can take several months in practice.

Martial-law conditions and consular capacity can lengthen timescales; treat any published figure as indicative and confirm before relying on it.
