Documents you need to enter Micronesia
The core travel documents required for entry, including passport validity and onward-travel evidence.
Important
Every visitor must hold a valid passport or recognised travel document issued by their country of citizenship or nationality. FSM requires the document to be valid for at least 120 days beyond the intended date of entry.
In addition to a valid passport, travellers should be prepared to show evidence of onward or return travel and of sufficient means for their stay. Applicants for employment, student, investor or family permits must provide the supporting documents specific to that permit — for example a job offer and labour authorisation for work, an enrolment record for study, or a foreign investment permit for investors.
Requirements can differ by nationality and by the FSM state of entry, so check the current document checklist with the Division of Immigration or an FSM embassy before travelling.
