FSM entry permit and visa fees
How fees are set under the Immigration Act and why published amounts should be confirmed before applying.
Important
Fees for FSM entry permits are established by the President by executive order under the Immigration Act, and revenues are paid into the Entry Permit Revolving Fund. The Act sets a minimum fee of US$1,000 for a change of immigration status, except for citizens of the United States, the Marshall Islands and Palau.
Beyond the statutory status-change fee, the FSM does not publish a single consolidated fee schedule, and amounts for work and other permits can vary by state and change over time. Always confirm the current fee with the Division of Immigration or the relevant FSM state immigration and labour office before paying.
