Micronesia visas

The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) welcomes visitors under a nationality-based system: short visits usually need no visa, while longer stays, employment, study, investment and settlement each require the correct entry permit or authorisation. Whether you need a permit — and which one — depends on your nationality and the purpose and length of your stay. Immigration is governed by the FSM Immigration Act (Title 50 of the FSM Code) and administered by the Division of Immigration in the national Department of Justice, working alongside each state's immigration office.
