Who it is for

  • Business people establishing or conducting business or investment in Mauritius
  • Those attending workshops, events or conferences (with a covering letter from the relevant ministry)

Requirements

  • Completed visa application form, two passport photos and passport data-page copy
  • Sponsorship / covering letter from the local company or relevant ministry
  • Return ticket, accommodation details and supporting business documentation
  • Documents in English or French

What you can do

  • Attend meetings, negotiate, and set up or oversee business or investment
  • Stay within the 120-day annual / 90-day per-trip limits
  • Not a work permit — paid local employment requires an Occupation/Work Permit

How to apply

  • Apply through a Mauritian diplomatic/consular mission, or an Air Mauritius office where none exists
  • As a last resort, email documents to piovisa@govmu.org
  • Apply at least one month before travel
