The Passport and Immigration Office states that Mauritius visas and extensions of stay are issued free of charge. This applies to the short-stay visa categories such as tourist, business, social and transit visas.

Work, investment, retirement and long-stay routes handled by the Economic Development Board (Occupation Permits, Residence Permits and the Premium Visa) involve their own processing arrangements and financial thresholds rather than a simple visa fee. Confirm any applicable EDB processing charges and the financial thresholds for each permit on the official EDB channels before applying.
