Requirements

  • Application on Form 3 with a description of the nature of the business
  • Proof of the applicant's financial resources
  • Passport or certificate of identity and two passport-sized photographs
  • Valid outward-bound ticket or repatriation bond
  • If staying more than one year: medical (Form 7), radiological (Form 8) and police reports
  • Any additional information required by the Principal Immigration Officer

How to apply

  • Prepare a description of the business and evidence of financial resources
  • Complete Form 3 and pay the prescribed Regulation 7 business fee
  • Submit to the Immigration Department for the Principal Immigration Officer's decision
