Who it is for

  • Foreign professionals working in Timor-Leste
  • Foreign nationals married to a Timorese citizen (typically 2-5 years of marriage) and family members
  • Victims of trafficking and humanitarian / exceptional cases
  • Foreign missionaries (Type B, per National Parliament Resolution No. 18/2015)

Requirements

  • Physical presence in Timor-Leste and a valid travel document
  • No criminal conviction exceeding one year of imprisonment
  • Adequate means of accommodation and subsistence
  • A Visa to Establish Residence (with limited exemptions)

How to apply

  • Lodge in person at the Immigration Service headquarters, Vila Verde, Dili
  • Renew before expiry for further periods
