Who it is for

  • Foreign nationals with at least 10 consecutive years of legal residence
  • Minor children or dependants of Timorese citizens
  • Foreign nationals married to a Timorese citizen for more than 5 years
  • Holders of a temporary residence permit for at least 6 years

Requirements

  • Passport copy, photographs, medical certificate and police clearance
  • Marriage certificate (if applicable) and village chief (suco) declaration
  • Proof of the required duration of residence
  • Evidence of positive economic or social contribution

  • Live in Timor-Leste indefinitely
  • Work, run a business or study without immigration restriction
