Documents you need for a Suriname application
A machine-readable passport valid at least six months, a photo, travel and accommodation details, and payment card are the core requirements for online travel documents; long-stay routes require substantial additional civil and financial documents.

For an e-tourist card or e-visa, applicants typically need a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival with at least one blank page, a passport-style photograph, personal and travel details, and a credit or debit card (Mastercard, Visa or Maestro) to pay online.
Long-stay applications (work, study, family reunification, residence) require far more: legalised civil-status documents (birth and, where relevant, marriage certificates), a police clearance / certificate of good conduct, proof of financial means, and purpose-specific evidence such as an employment contract, proof of enrolment, or proof of the family relationship. Documents in other languages usually require translation, and foreign documents typically require legalisation or apostille.
