Who it's for
Highly qualified non-EU nationals with a Luxembourg job offer of at least six months paying the required minimum salary, who hold either a relevant higher-education qualification or documented high professional qualifications for the role.

- Valid passport
- Employment contract of at least 6 months
- Annual salary at least equal to the amount set by Grand-Ducal regulation (stated as EUR 65,652)
- Proof of high professional qualifications or ability to practise the profession in the contract
- Criminal record extract or sworn affidavit
- Temporary authorisation to stay granted before entry

How to apply
Before travel, submit the temporary authorisation to stay application to the General Department of Immigration.
Visa nationals then obtain a Type D long-stay visa.
After arrival, file the declaration of arrival within 3 working days and undergo the medical examination and TB screening.
Apply for the EU Blue Card residence permit within 3 months of entry.
