Fees for a Lithuania visa application
Lithuania's national state fees for a long-stay (D) visa and temporary residence permit, paid to the State Tax Inspectorate.
Important
Lithuania charges a national state fee for examining long-stay visa and residence-permit applications. The state fee is paid to the accounts of the State Tax Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance. Separately, if you apply abroad through the appointed external service provider (VFS Global), that provider charges its own service fee on top of the state fee.
Fees can differ by processing speed (general vs. urgent) and some applicants are exempt by law. Confirm the current amount for your case on the Migration Department's official state-fees pages before paying.
National (D) visa
- The state fee for examining a national visa application is EUR 140.
Temporary residence permit
- General procedure (examined within 2 months): EUR 120.
- Urgent procedure (examined within 1 month): EUR 240.
External service provider fee
When you apply through VFS Global abroad, an additional customer service fee applies per applicant on top of the state fee. This amount varies by location and should be confirmed on the Migration Department / VFS pages for your country.
