Who it's for

Non-EU/EEA/Swiss employees being recruited by a Danish company that is certified under the Fast-Track Scheme. It is designed for employers who hire international staff regularly and need speed and flexibility.

Requirements

  • Employer certified by SIRI to use the Fast-Track Scheme
  • Employment meeting the conditions of one of the scheme's tracks
  • For the pay-limit track: salary at least DKK 552,000/yr (2026); supplementary track at least DKK 446,000/yr (2026)
  • Pay and employment terms customary for the Danish labour market

What you can do

  • Start work quickly, in many cases from the moment the application is submitted
  • Switch flexibly between tracks and combine short stays with longer employment
  • Bring accompanying family members who can also work
  • Accrue time toward permanent residence (on the longer-term tracks)

How to apply

The certified employer initiates the application through SIRI/nyidanmark.dk and the employee completes their part. Because the employer is pre-certified, processing is streamlined; on qualifying tracks the employee may commence work immediately after submission. A fee applies and biometrics are recorded.

Documents

  • Valid passport
  • Employment contract specifying the relevant Fast-Track track and salary
  • Employer's SIRI certification reference
  • Qualification documents where the chosen track requires them
  • Passport photo and biometrics

Frequently asked questions

  • On qualifying Fast-Track tracks, yes — a key benefit is being able to begin work when the application is submitted, provided the conditions are met.
