Important
All travellers must present a valid passport or other accepted travel document establishing identity and nationality, valid for the intended period of stay, along with evidence of sufficient funds and a return or onward ticket. PICA also accepts certain alternative documents such as Documents of Identity, Certificates of Identity, Laissez-Passer, refugee documents and seamen's certificates.
Applications made within Jamaica — extensions, permanent residence and citizenship — typically require original documents including police certificates, medical/good-health certificates, certified passport photographs, and references from Jamaican nationals.
