Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

For an eVisa you generally need a passport valid for at least six months beyond your entry date with blank pages, a colour scan of the passport bio-page, a passport-style photo, and proof of yellow fever vaccination. Purpose-specific evidence is added depending on the category — for example an invitation letter for business or family visits, enrolment evidence for study, or onward-travel proof for transit.

Long-stay routes require additional documents, such as an employment contract and work authorisation for workers, and identity, residence, health, police and tax records for naturalisation.

Typical eVisa documents

  • Passport valid 6+ months with blank pages
  • Colour passport bio-page scan
  • Passport-style photograph
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate
  • Purpose-specific supporting documents (invitation, enrolment, onward ticket, etc.)
