Who it is for

  • Tourists, and people making private visits to friends or family
  • Business travellers, and participants in cultural, sporting, scientific or educational events
  • Nationals who do not qualify for visa-free entry or the e-visa

Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of departure
  • Completed visa application form and a passport photo
  • Medical insurance valid in Belarus
  • Visa support documents appropriate to the purpose (e.g. invitation, tourist voucher, business invitation)

What you can do

  • Stay in Belarus for the period authorised, up to 90 days
  • Register with the local Department for Citizenship and Migration office if staying more than the permitted registration-free period (hotels register guests automatically)

How to apply

  • Apply at a Belarusian embassy or consulate, or an authorised visa centre
  • Submit the application form, passport, photo, insurance and visa support documents
  • Pay the consular fee and collect the visa once the decision is made
