Requirements
A transit visa is for travellers who are only passing through Zimbabwe on the way to another country, not staying. You must be able to show that Zimbabwe is not your final destination.
You need a passport valid for the duration of your travel, confirmed onward travel to your next country, and, where that country requires it, a valid visa for your onward destination.
- A passport valid for at least six months, with the bio-data page available to upload
- Confirmed onward travel showing you are continuing to a third country
- A valid visa for your onward or final destination, where one is required
- Evidence that you are transiting only and do not intend to remain in Zimbabwe

Frequently asked questions
No. A transit visa only lets you pass through Zimbabwe on your way to another country; it does not allow you to stay. If you intend to spend time in Zimbabwe you must apply for a visitor (tourist) visa instead.
