Who it is for

  • Tourists and holidaymakers visiting Zimbabwe
  • People visiting family and friends
  • Short private visits not involving paid work
  • Category B nationals (eligible for eVisa or visa on arrival) and Category C nationals (must apply in advance)

Requirements

  • Passport valid for the duration of stay with blank pages
  • Completed online application on the eVisa portal (or payment at the port of entry for Category B)
  • Passport bio-data page and a passport-style photograph
  • Details of accommodation / itinerary as prompted by the application

What you can do

  • Enter Zimbabwe for tourism and private visits
  • Stay for the period granted at the port of entry, up to the visa validity
  • Not permitted to take up employment or paid work

How to apply

  • Create an account and apply at evisa.gov.zw (Category B/C)
  • Upload your passport bio-data page and photo
  • Pay the visa fee online
  • Wait for approval (around 7 working days) and travel with your approval
  • Category B nationals may alternatively pay cash for the visa on arrival
