Who it is for
- Foreign nationals of any nationality coming to Uruguay to work
- People with a Uruguayan employer or a declared means of support
Requirements
- Employer letter on letterhead stating the activity and contract period, with monthly pay at or above the national minimum wage, or another declared means of support
- Notarial certificate of the company's details (per its legal form) or a Nominated Labour History (BPS)
- Passport and apostilled criminal-record certificate for countries lived in over six months in the last five years
- Uruguayan vaccination certificate (Decree 136/2018) and current health booklet (Carné de Salud)
How to apply
- Complete the online residence form and upload documents
- Await acceptance email with a link to book an appointment
- Present original documents at the chosen migration office
