Who it is for

Requirements

  • Passport bio-data page valid for at least 6 months
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Yellow Fever vaccination certificate
  • Supporting letter / itinerary or proof of purpose (e.g. hotel booking or invitation)
  • Return or onward travel details

What you can do

  • Enter Uganda once for the permitted purpose
  • Stay for the period granted (up to three months)
  • Undertake tourism, visits, medical treatment or short business activity — not paid employment

How to apply

Apply online at visas.immigration.go.ug: choose application type (Visa), category and sub-category, complete the electronic form, upload the required documents and submit. Once approved, download the approval letter and present it with your passport on arrival for the visa to be issued.
