Who it is for

Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Yellow Fever vaccination certificate
  • Travel itinerary covering the countries to be visited
  • First entry made through the issuing country (Uganda, if applied via the Uganda portal)

What you can do

  • Travel for tourism across Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda for up to 90 days
  • Re-enter the partner states multiple times within the validity period
  • Note: the visa does not cover Tanzania, Burundi or South Sudan

Apply online through visas.immigration.go.ug, selecting the East Africa Tourist Visa category. Ensure your planned first point of entry is Uganda when you apply through the Ugandan system.
