Requirements
- A genuine, acceptable travel document (passport) valid for not less than 6 months.
- You must be travelling for tourism only — the East African Tourist Visa cannot be used for employment or paid work.
- The visa must be issued by the country of your first entry: if you obtain it before travel through Rwanda, Rwanda must be your first port of entry into the bloc.
- The visa covers travel between the three participating East African states (Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya) on a single document.
