Documents you need for a Peruvian immigration application
The common supporting documents required across Peruvian resident categories.
Important
Although each calidad migratoria has its own document list, several documents recur across resident applications: a valid passport or analogous travel document, evidence of no criminal/judicial/police record, and category-specific proof (an employment contract, enrolment certificate, proof of family relationship, investment certificate or proof of income).
Documents issued abroad generally need to be legalised by the Peruvian consulate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or apostilled. Some categories also require an Interpol international clearance record (Ficha de canje internacional) issued within the last six months. Check the exact list on the official procedure page for your category.
