Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

For a non-resident visa applied for online, the MRE system predetermines the documents to upload. These typically include a passport-style photo (3x4, white background, facing forward) in JPG, proof of economic solvency, a legalised and/or apostilled criminal record certificate, and evidence of travel such as a flight itinerary or transport tickets.

For residence, applications to Migraciones require identity documents, criminal record certificates, and documents supporting the specific category (for example a marriage or birth certificate for family routes, or a SUACE approval for investors). A key rule is that any document in a foreign language must be translated into Spanish by a public translator registered in Paraguay, or by a foreign public translator authorised by the competent authority of the country concerned.

Because the exact list varies by category and can change, always take the current documentary checklist from the official MRE or Migraciones page for your specific route.
