Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Paraguay charges fees for consular visas, visas on arrival and residence procedures, but the amounts are set by the authorities and are updated from time to time. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs sets and collects visa fees through its consulates and the online system, while the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones administers charges for residence procedures.

For visas on arrival, fees are payable at the airport; third-party sources cite amounts in US dollars for eligible nationalities, but these should be confirmed officially before travel. Residence procedures may also involve additional costs such as translations, legalisation/apostille of documents, and the cédula de identidad.

Because published third-party figures can be out of date, always verify the exact, current fee for your specific visa or residence category with MRE or Migraciones directly.
