How to apply

Requirements

  • Passengers whose layover in PNG is under 7 hours need no visa
  • If your waiting time between flights exceeds 7 hours, you must hold a visa - in practice a Visitor visa
  • To obtain the Visitor visa you must be a genuine visitor and intend to leave PNG at the end of your stay
  • Hold a valid passport and confirmed onward travel to a third country
  • Apply online before you travel if your transit wait will exceed 7 hours
