Documents for a Papua New Guinea Visa
The supporting documents commonly required for PNG visa applications, from passport and itinerary to sponsor letters, police clearance and medical reports.
Important
Document requirements vary by visa class, but most PNG visa applications require a copy of the valid passport bio-data page (with at least six months' validity), a completed application form, and payment of the prescribed migration fee. Visitor classes typically also require a request letter and a travel itinerary with a confirmed onward or return ticket.
Employment, dependent and longer-stay applications require additional evidence. This can include a sponsor or undertaking letter signed at managerial level, an employment contract, education qualifications, a maintenance guarantee bond, and - for stays of six months or more - a police clearance certificate and a medical report. Medical documentation may include a medical examination report, an HIV pathology report and a chest X-ray radiology report for applicants over 16.
