Documents Needed for a Nepal Visa
The core documents required for on-arrival and long-stay Nepal visa applications.
Important
For a tourist visa on arrival you need a passport valid for at least six months, a passport-size photograph, a completed visa/arrival application, and the visa fee. Having a printed copy of any online pre-application and knowledge of your accommodation and onward travel is also helpful.
Long-stay categories require additional supporting documents specific to the route — for example a work permit and employment contract for a work visa, an admission letter and education ministry recommendation for a study visa, investment approval for a business or residential visa, or marriage and citizenship documents for a marital visa.
