Important
For visitor visas, applicants generally need a valid passport with sufficient validity and blank pages, a recent passport-style photograph, proof of accommodation, evidence of onward or return travel, and proof of sufficient funds for the stay. Online applications require these to be uploaded to the eServices portal.
Permit applications (work, study, business, family and residence) require additional evidence relevant to the route, such as an employment contract, letter of admission, business plan and company registration, marriage or birth certificates, qualifications, police clearance and medical documentation.
