Who it is for

  • Non-citizens enrolled in full- or part-time programmes of at least one academic year
  • Undergraduate and postgraduate (Masters, MPhil, Doctoral) students
  • Exchange students at recognised institutions for up to one year

Requirements

  • Secured admission at an institution registered with the Tertiary Education Commission or Mauritius Qualifications Authority
  • Approved study application before travel to Mauritius
  • Valid passport and supporting documents

How to apply

  • First secure a seat at a registered tertiary or TVET institution
  • Obtain approval of the study application before travelling
  • On arrival, apply to the Passport and Immigration Office for the Student Residence Permit
