All travellers to the Marshall Islands must hold a passport valid for at least six months, show sufficient funds for their stay and hold an onward or return air or sea ticket. Non-exempt nationals must also present an approved visa.

For scheduled arrivals, carriers provide an uplift notice with the traveller's name, nationality, passport number, passport validity, date of birth, arrival date and flight details. Travellers arriving by private vessel must supply vessel and crew details before entry and wait for an approval letter.

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months.
  • Approved visa (unless visa-exempt or granted visa on arrival / waiver).
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the stay.
  • Confirmed onward or return ticket to the country of residence or origin.
