Entry into the Maldives

Within 48 hours of both their arrival and departure flights, passengers must fill out a Traveller Health Declaration Form. If you are in Maldives, you should routinely monitor developments, consult the management of your resort or hotel, and adhere to local authorities’ guidance. If you contract COVID-19 while in Maldives, you may be obliged to quarantine at your resort hotel or a government facility, and you may be responsible for the resulting substantial additional costs. A passport or travel document with a Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) that is valid for at least one month.

A paid-ahead hotel reservation or accomodation.

Sufficient cash to cover the duration of intended stay in Maldives.

Confirmed onward/return tickets to home country or residency country (not applicable for valid resident permit holders).

Entry amenities to their subsequent destinations, such as the visa.

All travellers to and from Maldives must fill out and submit a Traveller Declaration within 96 hours of their scheduled flight. Through IMUGA, the form must be submitted.

Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination, if appropriate.
