How to apply

  • Confirm your nationality is on Chad's current visa-exempt list before booking — check the official e-Visa portal (evisa.td), as the list can change.
  • Do not apply for an e-Visa if you are exempt; no visa fee or online application is required.
  • On arrival, present your passport and yellow fever certificate to the immigration officer at the port of entry.
  • Within 72 hours of arriving, go to the Commissariat Central (central police headquarters) in N'Djamena to register and collect your stamp.
