Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Most Belize applications share a common set of documents: a completed application form, a passport valid for more than six months, passport-style photographs, and proof of finances. Sponsored applicants generally add a letter of financial support signed by a Justice of the Peace (with a postage stamp), proof of the relationship, and the sponsor's identification and bank statements.

Study and dependent applications also require institution or relationship evidence — for example a letter from the educational institution for students, or birth and marriage certificates for dependants — and any document not in English must be officially translated.
