Who it is for

  • Close relatives of Belarusian citizens permanently residing in Belarus
  • People with the right to family reunification, and former citizens
  • Specialists needed by Belarusian organisations
  • Ethnic Belarusians and their descendants, and qualifying investors

Requirements

  • Evidence of a qualifying ground under Law No. 105-Z
  • Valid passport and supporting documents (relationship, employment, investment, etc.)

What you can do

  • Reside permanently in Belarus with broadly the same rights as citizens, except voting
  • Use permanent residence as the basis for eventual naturalisation

How to apply

  • Apply at the citizenship and migration unit at the place of intended permanent residence
  • Submit documents proving the qualifying ground
