How to apply
- For short visits, apply for a Type C private-visit visa at a Belarusian embassy or consulate
- For longer stays, apply to the Department for Citizenship and Migration for a temporary residence permit on family grounds after entry
Documents you may need
- Completed and signed visa application form with a colour photo.
- Valid passport with at least two blank pages and 90 days' validity beyond departure.
- Original invitation issued by the Citizenship and Migration Department, or an invitation from a permanent resident for a close relative.
- Documents confirming kinship or marriage (e.g. birth or marriage certificate, surname-change papers).
- For property-related private visits: documents confirming ownership plus proof of relationship where required.
- Medical insurance contract valid for the visa period.
- Proof of consular fee payment.
