Documents Required for a Bangladesh Visa

All applicants need a passport valid for at least six months, the printed online application, recent photographs and category-specific supporting documents.

Across all categories, applicants generally need a passport valid for at least six months with a blank page, the completed online application form printed from visa.gov.bd, and recent colour passport photographs (commonly 45mm x 35mm). Fees must be paid by the method specified by the receiving mission.

Category-specific documents include, for example: an invitation letter or hotel booking and return ticket for tourism; an invitation from a Bangladeshi organisation with trade licence and TIN for business; an employment letter plus a letter of concurrence from a government ministry, BIDA or BEPZA for employment; an admission letter and proof of funds for study; and a marriage or birth certificate for family visas.
