Bangladesh Visa on Arrival
Citizens of a defined list of countries can obtain a 30-day single-entry visa on arrival at Bangladesh's international airports for tourism, business, investment or government work.
Important
Bangladesh offers a visa on arrival to citizens of specified countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, several Gulf states and European countries, travelling for tourism, trade, investment or government employment. It is issued at Dhaka (Hazrat Shahjalal), Chattogram and Sylhet international airports.
The visa on arrival is valid for a maximum stay of 30 days on a single entry, extendable through the Department of Immigration and Passports. The official fee is USD 50 excluding bank processing charges. Travellers should carry a passport valid at least six months, a return ticket, and proof of accommodation or a business invitation, since issuance is at the discretion of the immigration officer.
The facility also extends to certain groups such as nationals of countries without a Bangladesh mission, UN and foreign-mission staff, people of Bangladeshi origin, and investors with the required documentation.
