Do you need a visa to visit Antigua and Barbuda?

An onward or return ticket is required for all travellers to Antigua and Barbuda. To enter Antigua and Barbuda, nationals of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada do not need a visa, but they must travel with a VALID PASSPORT.

  • To holders of a valid United States visa or permanent resident card; or a valid Canadian visa or permanent resident card; or a valid United Kingdom visa or resident card; or a valid Schengen visa.
  • Whose entire goal for visiting Antigua and Barbuda is for tourist purposes, or a brief visit to meet friends or family, and who has no other purpose or activity in mind.
  • Who does not reside or work in Antigua and Barbuda; who has a passport with a least six-month validity and a re-entry permit if necessary by the law of the applicants country of nationality
  • Who is a person in good financial standing with a return ticket and enough money to cover his or her expenses while in Antigua and Barbuda?
  • Who hasnt been declared a persona non grata by Antigua and Barbudas government?
  • Who isnt allowed to enter the country?
  • Who isnt on a “no-fly” list, isnt on a “black list,” isnt on a “warning circular,” or isnt on any other restriction list?

Angola Tourist Visa-on-Arrival Requirements

It is not possible to extend or convert a Tourist Visa-on-Arrival. However, with the agreement of the Chief Immigration Officer, a Tourist Visa on Arrival may be cancelled or extended in the following circumstances:

If a person falls unwell and needs to stay in Antigua and Barbuda for longer than the Tourist visa on arrival allows, a Medical Visa will be given, as well as a Medical Attendant Visa for the person accompanying the individual who has fallen ill.

Passengers requesting visas to enter Antigua and Barbuda will be charged a cost of US$100.00 or the equivalent Eastern Caribbean Currency per person (including minors) on arrival.

Angola eVisa (Electronic Visa) System

An e-Visa is an electronic document that allows you to enter and travel to Antigua and Barbuda. The e-Visa is an electronic visa that works in the same way as visas granted by Antigua and Barbuda consulates and ports of entry. After entering required information and paying payments by credit or debit card, applicants can acquire their visas electronically (MasterCard or Visa).

The eVisa system will allow applicants to apply for a visa online, and once the visa has been processed, a letter indicating approval or denial will be provided. Passport Control Officers will conduct a verification upon arrival in Antigua & Barbuda.
