Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Every application starts with a valid passport containing the required endorsements. Beyond that, the supporting documents depend on the route: a visitor visa is document-light, while permits require evidence tied to their purpose.

Employment permits typically require an employer's covering letter, an employment contract or offer, professional qualifications, a curriculum vitae, police clearance and press advertisements of the post. Investor's permits require company registration and proof of the required capital. Study permits require a letter of acceptance and proof of sponsorship, and spouse permits require a certified marriage certificate and the sponsor's status documents.
