Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Visitor visa fees in Zambia are set by entry type — single entry, double entry and multiple entry — with separate fees for transit, day-tripper and the regional KAZA UniVisa. Immigration permits (employment, investor, study, spouse, residence) each carry a separately prescribed fee.

Zambia announced revised visitor visa fees taking effect from the start of 2026, so the amount payable depends on the date of application. Always confirm the current fee on the official Department of Immigration channels or the e-Visa portal before paying, as fees are periodically revised and stated in US dollars for visitor visas.

Fee structure

  • Single, double and multiple entry visas each carry different fees
  • Transit, day-tripper and KAZA UniVisa have their own set fees
  • Diplomatic gratis visas are issued free to eligible credentialed personnel
  • Each immigration permit carries a separately prescribed fee
  • Visitor visa fees were revised with effect from 2026 — confirm the current amount before paying
