Trinidad and Tobago operates three broad pathways for entry: visa exemption for nationals of approved countries, a visa waiver obtainable on arrival for certain nationalities, and an electronic visa (e-Visa) or consular visa for everyone else. The correct pathway is determined by your nationality and the purpose and length of your stay.
Short visits for tourism or business by exempt nationals do not require a visa, but a visa exemption is not a work or study authorisation — those require the appropriate permit regardless of nationality. Always check the official visa policy list for your specific passport before travelling.
