How to apply
- Register and apply through the CSME e-Application system
- Confirm the approved category and requirements with the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs CSME unit
Requirements
- Be a national of a participating CARICOM member state
- Fall within one of the twelve approved skills categories under Article 46 of the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas
- Apply through, and submit document soft copies (PDF) via, the CSME e-Application platform
- After entry, complete the verification process within the automatic six-month period to obtain indefinite residency

Frequently asked questions
The Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs gives a minimum processing timeline of five to six weeks. On entry you receive an automatic six months during which the certificate must be verified to secure indefinite residency, and there is no cost for the verification process.
