How to Apply for a Togo Visa

Most travellers apply for a Togo visa online through the official Togo Voyage e-visa portal before arrival, then present the approved PDF at the border.

For most nationalities, entry to Togo is arranged through the official e-visa portal at voyage.gouv.tg. You create an account, complete the application form, choose the visa category and duration, upload your documents, and pay the fee online. Once approved, the visa is emailed to you as a PDF with a QR code, which you print and carry for entry.

Nationals of ECOWAS/CEDEAO member states do not need an entry visa. Longer stays and work, study or settlement require a residence card from the Direction Générale de la Documentation Nationale (DGDN) after arrival.

Check whether your nationality needs a visa (ECOWAS citizens are exempt)
Create an account on voyage.gouv.tg and select the correct category
Upload documents, pay the fee and submit several business days before travel
Print the approved e-visa PDF and present it on arrival
