Togo's visa requirement depends on nationality and the reason for travel. Citizens of ECOWAS/CEDEAO member states benefit from regional free movement and do not need an entry visa. Most other nationalities must obtain an e-visa in the appropriate category (tourist, business, professional/work, study or immigration).

Eligibility for each category depends on meeting its conditions — for example a study visa requires proof of admission to a Togolese institution, and a work/professional visa requires an employment contract or evidence of professional purpose.
