Core documents include a valid passport, a completed application, a photo and category-specific proof such as an admission letter or employment contract.
Important
All applicants need a passport valid for at least six months, a completed application, and a recent passport-style photograph. Depending on the category you may also need proof of accommodation, onward or return travel, and often a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Category-specific documents apply: a study visa requires proof of admission to a school or university in Togo, and a work/professional visa requires an employment contract with a Togolese company. Residence-card applications additionally require a recent medical certificate, identity photographs and criminal-record clearance.
