How to apply for a Sudan visa
The general two-stage process for a Sudan entry visa: a sponsor obtains an entry-permit number in Khartoum, then the applicant applies at a Sudanese embassy.
Important
For most purposes, applying for a Sudan visa is a two-stage process. First, a sponsor in Sudan (an employer, host, relative or organisation) applies through the Aliens Department at the Ministry of Interior in Khartoum, via the Ministry of Interior e-service portal, to obtain a unique entry-permit number for the applicant.
Once the entry permit is approved and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sudan confirms the applicant's entry, the traveller submits their passport and application to the Sudanese embassy or consulate responsible for their country of residence. The embassy issues the visa in the passport.
Requirements, fees and payment methods differ between Sudanese missions, so applicants should follow the instructions of the specific embassy handling their case.
